The year is 50 B.C. Gaul is entirely occupied by the Romans... Well, not entirely! Two small villages of indomitable Gauls still hold out against the invaders. When Empress Fu Yi of the Far East, whose life is threatened by a treacherous prince, sends her daughter, Princess Sass-Yi, to seek help from the legendary warriors, Asterix and Obelix are called upon for their greatest mission yet: a journey to the Middle Kingdom (Babylon).
