The campaign plunges players into a world where official channels and government loyalties are questioned. Players step into the shoes of new and returning Black Ops characters navigating a covert world of spies, assassins, and psychological warfare, hunting down a rogue American intelligence agent.

The game features a cinematic, globetrotting campaign, launching immediately after the events of Black Ops Cold War.
