About :

Hades II is Supergiant Games' first direct sequel, continuing the tradition of the mythological rogue-like genre. You play as Melinoë, the immortal Princess of the Underworld and Zagreus' sister, trained in the arts of Witchcraft and combat by Hecate. Your mission is to descend into the depths of the Underworld and ascend Mount Olympus to confront Chronos, the Titan of Time, who has imprisoned Hades and threatens the cosmos.

The game builds upon the foundation of the original Hades, introducing an entirely new character, Melinoë, who wields powerful arcane magic alongside her chthonic weapons. Players will navigate new sprawling environments, interact with dozens of unique, fully-voiced characters including returning Olympians and new mythological figures like Apollo and Hecate, and master a variety of versatile weapon aspects. The core roguelite loop—die, get stronger, try again—is enhanced with the Altar of Ashes progression system, allowing for deep customization of Melinoë’s abilities between runs.
